Part police procedural and part black comedy – May’s reading group book

Tate South Lambeth’s next reading group session is on Thursday May 11^th  at 6.30 to 8pm.

This month we’ll be discussing The Trees by Percival Everett.

A series of brutal murders take place in  a small town in Mississippi. These present a puzzle – in each case there is a second dead body, which resembles Emmett Till, the young African-American lynched in the state in 1955.
