Roger Johnson, expert on Sherlock Holmes and co-author of The Sherlock Holmes Miscellany, looks at Holmes’s excursions into Lambeth proper, Brixton, Kennington, Streatham, Herne Hill and parts of Norwood, together with Arthur Conan Doyle’s own connections with south London.
