OUR LIBRARY’S STILL ALIVE -COME ALONG AND CELEBRATE

Friends of Tate South Lambeth Library invite everyone – Friends or not – to a party to celebrate the survival of our library after months when we feared it would shut its doors on April 1st.

The date: Friday April 22nd

The time: 7pm on

The place: the library (of course!)

There’ll be cake and wine, and a performance by a library favourite – the Kennington Choir.

The cake will be provided by a bake-off competition we’re running on the same day. The prize is a slap-up tea for two at the Tea House Theatre, Vauxhall Lane.

If you want to enter the competition bring your own celebration cake to the library, between 4pm and 5.30pm on April 22nd. Donatella – the cake judge at last October’s Fun Palace day – will select the winner.

And we’d welcome any contributions of drink or party food. Just bring them along.
