Mark National Libraries Day by dropping in at Tate South Lambeth Library to see what our library offers you in the way of activities organised there by Friends of TSL, the library service and other partners of the library.
at 2.30pm a reading from two of her books for children by Clara Macedo Cabral, the Portuguese writer
at 2-3pm the gardening group session
at 2.15pm a presentation by Flora Finch, leader of the music story rhymes sessions for young children
2.30-4pm the weekly session of beginners English for Portuguese speakers
a library quiz, with prizes, including a £25 book token
a selection of artwork from the Tate Local gallery for sale, including work from the art class at Ashmole Estate and local artists
Lib Peck, Leader of Lambeth Council, will be calling in at 2pm to meet and greet volunteers and staff running programmes at TSL and to see how a small library can do big things.
