Illness hits our play – but we had a party

Because of illness among the actors we were not able to put on Present, the musical play written and performed by local young people, on December 16^th.

But because so many had been looking forward to that evening Friends transformed the event into a Pop-up Christmas party – with carol singing, mince pies and drinks, a quiz, lucky dip, and Father Christmas handing out gifts to the children.

It was a warm bright evening while outside was dark and icy, and enjoyed by more than 30 people of different ages.
