The Friends of Tate South Lambeth Library have sent a have sent a response to the consultation process on the future of Lambeth’s libraries which ends on 27April 2012.
A report and “firm recommendations” from the Council officers running the consultation are to be presented to Lambeth Council in July.
Meanwhile the Friends are seeking a public meeting with a Council representative to discuss the big issue – the impact, implications and opportunities stemming from the Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea development which will greatly add to the population in Tate South Lambeth Library’s catchment area.
