With the library now open again for public events Friends of Tate South Lambeth Library will be holding their annual general meeting – for the first time since 2019.
The date: Wednesday May 25th
The time: 6.30pm
The place: Tate South Lambeth Library, 180 South Lambeth Road SW8 1QP
The meeting will start with the familiar agenda – annual reports from the chairman and the treasurer for the year April 2021 to March 2022 and elections to the committee by Friends members ( you can join on the spot).
The meeting will then have a presentation by the Friends gardener, Gemma Hunter, on a great new project she is working on – the development of Tradescant’s Retreat (the garden that Friends set up in the back courtyard of the library) as a community garden space.
Gemma came up with the idea for this project. The AGM welcomes ideas, proposals and discussion on where Friends go next, And of course new members for the committee.
