Tate South Lambeth’s next reading group session is in the garden – if the weather is fine.

This month the book we’ll be looking at is The Shadow KIng by Maaza Mengiste, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize in 2020.  This novel tells the story of Mussolini’s invasion of Ethiopia in 1935 and the female soldiers who fought back – and whom history has ignored.
