A Gardener’s Christmas

In November the Garden Group runs two sessions which may be of interest to anybody, whether they are into gardening or not.

9 November, 2-3 pm – Blooms for Christmas

We will pot up hyacinth and other bulbs. If kept indoors, they should bloom around Christmas / New Year time. This session will take place in the library garden at the back, so please dress warmly. Rain shelter will be provided, if needed.

23 November, 2-3 pm – Christmas Decoration

Make your own table decoration with candle (£1.00 for materials), tree hangings or gift tags with crab apples, pine branches, holly & ivy, colourful berries, little cones and other decorative items found outside.

This session will take place indoors. Please bring any ribbons you may have, all other materials will be provided.
