Saturday 16th March 2013 is The Big Dig day which is all about getting people down to their local community garden to get growing.
At the Tate South Lambeth Library from 11am to 3pm Steve Alton, horticulturist from Flowerscape, will be running a workshop on sowing wild flowers and how to attract bees to your garden.
After the talk help dig and sow wild flower seeds in the street planter on Wilcox Close opposite the library.
So bring your garden gloves, trowels and a packed lunch for a fun day.
The group is also selling Veolia watering cans, at £1 each, in aid of the Alzheimer’s
Society.
