Founded in 1933, the British Interplanetary Society (BIS) is the world’s longest established space organisation. Its headquarters have been in South Lambeth Road, Vauxhall, since 1979.

Colin Philp, a Fellow and Council Member of the BIS, will talk about the Society and its pioneering work in space flight, its history and its relationship to the local area.

Free entry.  Refreshments available with donations to Friends of Tate South Lambeth Library.
